Additionally, the JaDiaspora Engage platform provides mechanisms for effectively and efficiently harnessing the human and professional capital of the Jamaican Diaspora, focusing on their potential for the transfer of knowledge and skills.

The Diaspora Affairs Department (DAD) is mandated to develop and strengthen the linkages between the Government of Jamaica and the Jamaican Diaspora.
